We wanted to let you know that we are thinking about the COVID-19 virus as much as you likely are. We are of course a place for music and fun, but we take the safety of our customers, staff, and visiting artists most seriously. We want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to keep the venue as clean and hygienic as we can.

A few things we are doing internally:
– All staff has been instructed to wash their hands 10x more than they think they need to, and to wear gloves when cleaning, changing trash, and picking up empty drinks.
– Common surfaces such as door handles, counters, and restroom fixtures are being wiped and cleaned more frequently.
– If a staff member is sick, stay home. Period.

In an effort to keep Slowdown as safe as possible, we ask that everyone visiting here over the coming weeks to realize that public heath is a communal effort and help us out. Wash your hands often. Cough into a sleeve instead of a crowd. Stay home if you are not feeling well.

As COVID-19 plays out, we look forward to your continued support of Slowdown, our staff, and the bands that are coming through. We simply all rely on it very much. We will continue to monitor CDC and local recommendations on the virus and events, and update you on any additional changes at Slowdown. Let’s try to have some fun as we all get through this together.

See you soon,
