This show will take place in our parking lot, located to the east side of Slowdown. The entrance will be located in the walkway between Slowdown and Hook & Lime. Please abide by the markings on the pavement when waiting in line for entry.

Your safety, and the safety of our team and visiting artists, are our first priorities at Slowdown. We’ve put measures in place at every guest and staff touchpoint to ensure that your experience is as safe and fun as possible.

The lot will be set up with 10'x10' sections or "pods." Pods are available first come, first pick and have a maximum capacity of 10 persons each. Pods may not be moved or combined. Feel free to bring a lawn chair if you would like to sit during the show.

All guests and staff are required to wear masks when entering and moving about the venue. For example, if you're walking to the bar or going to the restroom, a face mask must be worn. If you are within your pod the use of a mask is recommended but not required.

Be sure to be prepared when you arrive at the venue:

• Bring a mask that covers your nose and face

• Have your ticket and ID ready

• Bags or purses larger than 5"x6" are not allowed

• One folding chair or lawn chair per person is allowed

• Re-entry is not permitted

Our cleaning protocols and precautions have been elevated above the recommended requirements throughout the venue. This includes dedicated staff members for frequent cleaning of high-touchpoint areas.

Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue. Staff members will be accessible if sanitizing products need to be located or replenished.

Please refrain from entering Slowdown if you or anyone in your party are experiencing the following symptoms:

• Cough

• Fever

• Shortness of breath

• Other symptom of Covid related illness per CDC Guidelines

RHYTHM COLLECTIVE is an award winning band, the recipient of multiple Omaha Entertainment Awards.

Rhythm Collective performs original reggae and calypso tunes from their two albums. They also performs standard island reggae tunes of Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff’s and Kitchener and Byron Lee Soca and Calypso party tunes. They also perform American Classic rock in reggae and ska styles.

Rhythm Collective has had the pleasure to share the stage with many international reggae stars such as Morgan Heritage, Anthony B, Mighty Diamonds, Everton Blender, Hirie, The Expendables, Kool Johnny Kool, King Yellowman, and Wailing Souls.

Formed in 2013 and hailing from the heart of the Midwest, this Nebraska quintet will keep you moving and entertained with a solid mix of original reggae, rock, ska and funk. All players, including Ro Hempel, Jeff Johnson, Christian Bandiola, and brothers Evan and Nate Royuk come from different established local bands and musical backgrounds to make up what is now RHB. With a wide variety of influences, each member brings a different dynamic to the band and keeps the sound versatile and fun. The high energy live performances and smooth, easy listening tunes are gaining the attention of people all over the country. Ro released his debut solo record on Stay Wise Media, entitled the ‘Two Shots EP’ in March, 2014. The band had a heavy summer schedule in 2014, playing many shows and festivals, one being the highly anticipated Wakarusa Music Festival in Arkansas. Ready for the opportunity to spread their music to listeners of all ages and in all areas, the excitement is high and the possibilities are endless. Make sure to be on the lookout for the new record, out in summer 2015, and come catch a vibe at one of the shows in your area!

Active in music since the 70's Dereck is known for his bass playing skills and diverse musical interests. He has played many styles from punk to jazz to blues to electronic to Cajun. Dereck's current music projects include membership in the bands, InDreama, Cleemann, The Jewel Beast, Paddy O'Furniture, The Pat Higgins Trio, as well as solo and guest appearances.
