Judging by the crazy number of people here for Pub Quiz last night, people are in town for Thanksgiving and ready to go out and have some fun. Speaking of…

Tonight we have Beep Beep headlining what will be their last show at Slowdown. Sad to see them go. Opening is Thunder Power, who also has a last of sorts…it’s apparently Matt’s last show with band…and Agent Ribbons. Great lineup and a great way to spend Thankseve.

We are closed on Thursday. We’ll be eating lots. You should, too.

Friday we open early for the annual (well, we did it last year) day after Thanksgiving NU football game. Doors at 1:30, game at 2:30. Free food, too! Then that night we have another great show in the Front Room with AA Bondy, Lissie and and Phil Schaffart.

We wrap up the week on Saturday with the CD release show for Slang 5 and Pomeroy opening the show. Hard to believe we have been open for 2 1/2 years and neither one of these bands have played here. We look forward to their Slowdown debut.
