The Big Day
The parking lot is full of trucks and people putting up a stage for the big outdoor show tonight. It’s almost here!
Before you head down to the show, but sure you have picked up a free ticket. Come a little early as the parking lot is closed and you may need to park a few blocks away. Check out the info section on the show, too. Other than than that, get ready for a beautiful night and some great music. See you soon!

Tonight we welcome back Greenstreet Cycles and Gold Sprints Racing. In case you missed it last time, it’s basically racing a real bike on a device that makes it stationary. Racing is fun, right? Come down and check it out. We’ll have some Lucky Bucket specials whether you like to race or not!
After the races, our week is over. We have a private event on Saturday. But get ready for next week, which includes our second parking lot show! Built To Spill, The Rural Alberta Advantage, and The Mynabirds will rock the lot on Friday, and it’s FREE as long as you head over here and pick up a ticket. See you soon!

The English Beat are back tonight. Their show in March was a great time and this one should be, too. Bad Manners and Chris Murray are opening this time, and it starts 8pm. After that, we are closed for private events on both Friday and Saturday…so the week is sort of ending a little early for us. So get your weekend started early, or get the rock show out of your system, or call it what you want…see you tonight!

No CommentsGet Educated
A couple of things to make you smarter, or at least more involved, coming up over the next couple of days:
Tonight we have the monthly Science Cafe, this time with Jack Turman Jr, Ph.D. presenting “Arriving Early: The Problem of Preterm Birth in the USA”. The Cafe starts at 7pm and will be followed by Pub Quiz at 9pm.
And on Wednesday we will be hosting a forum led by Omaha By Design, Environment Omaha, and Pass The Potatoes to discuss the outreach and development of the Environment Omaha document. Environment Omaha is the initiative to add an Environmental Element to the City of Omaha Master Plan. Pass the Potatoes is a great way to get involved (from the comfort of your couch or favorite bar) in Omaha’s efforts to become a more sustainable community. You can chime in with your original ideas, or show support for ideas that others have submitted. The forum begins at 5:30pm, during which time we will of course have our daily Happy Hour going. And as luck has it, Happy Hour continues until close.
See you soon!
