thanks to everyone who took the time to sign our petition, email their councilman, and show up to the hearing today. as a result of your efforts, the omaha city council voted 5-2 in favor of the proposed ‘music venue’ license that will allow us, and others, to continue having all-ages shows. we should consider this a victory for omaha.

there are some new restrictions, however. anyone under the age of 18 will be required to have a notarized parental consent form on file at the venue. more details on the logistics of this as we know them. the form should be available in the next few days with detailed instructions. stay tuned.

thanks to everyone who signed the online petition to save all-ages shows in omaha. the city council will be voting today on the proposed language. hopefully everyone’s efforts have helped. look for an update this afternoon. cheers.
